Our dealership extends its commitment to providing excellence beyond the storefront. We believe in bringing care, selflessness, and renewal to the community. Our dealership annually serves the community by participating in the Farmington River Clean-Up.
What Is The Farmington River Clean-Up?
The Farmington River Clean-Up is an initiative hosted by the Farmington River Watershed Association and Land Trust with the objective to clean and preserve the river. Using gloves and trash bags, and with the help of a few Kayaks and Canoes, we pick up glass bottles, plastic bags, and any additional trash. With enough people, we can help protect the river against pollution and ensure the longevity of animal habitats.
What Should I Wear?
River clean-ups can get messy. For this reason, we recommend wearing attire that is both comfortable and sturdy. If you plan on kayaking or canoeing, you'll want to wear items that you won't mind getting wet. Hosts will provide gloves and trash bags for volunteers. However, here's a list of additional items to consider bringing:
- Long Pants
- Boots or Mud-Worthy Shoes
- Additional Gloves
- An Extra Pair of Socks
How Can I Sign Up?
If you're interested in joining us as we clean up the river, you can RSVP or sign-up by visiting our website. Provided you have any trouble, just call our dealership, and we'd be more than happy to walk you through the process.
