What's New this Year?
One of the biggest updates to the 2023 Subaru Legacy lineup is a new front-end styling. The front end has a larger grille and a sharper headlight design, helping your vehicle stand out in any crowd. The 2023 Legacy Sport trim level also now gains a 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, offering a significant power upgrade from previous model years. There's also an updated Eyesight Driver Assist Technology system that uses an enhanced camera system to provide you with greater peace of mind on the go.
Performance
Engine Options and Transmission
Under the hood, there're two engine options available throughout the lineup. Both are Boxer engines, meaning they use horizontally opposed pistons instead of vertical or v shaped pistons. That allows the engine to be placed lower in the vehicle, providing you with a lower center of gravity and greater stability, allowing you to enjoy a more commanding driving experience around tight corner. The first engine is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with a 182-horsepower and 176 pounds-feet of torque. The other engine is a 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 260-horsepower and 277 pounds-feet of torque. Both engines have a continuously variable automatic transmission with paddle shifters that delivers a smooth, responsive, and fuel-friendly performance.
Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive
The Subaru Legacy lineup all come with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, allowing you to enjoy the utmost traction and control whether you're facing bad weather, rough terrain, or your daily commute.
