When we're young, we always seem to be yearning to be older and more independent. What we don't realize, however, is that while growing up does indeed grant us newfound freedoms--like the freedom to drive our own car, for example--it also bestows a great deal of responsibility upon us, as well.

Take a look at one of the Subaru brand's recently posted commercials and see how one five-year-old comes to the realization that owning his very own Subaru Legacy might to be the happy-go-lucky fantasy he's always had in mind.

How many sport sedans can be had with a rally-proven turbo-charged engine? How many sport sedans are available with a no-nonsense manual transmission? How many sport sedans that get your pulse racing actually fall within your budget? Better yet, how many sport sedans take all of the above and combine it with a full-time symmetrical AWD system? When it comes down to it, there's only one automobile left standing: the 2016 Subaru WRX.

The state of Connecticut was certainly not immune from the wrath of Blizzard 2016, or, what some people are referring to as winter storm Jonas. Whichever moniker you prefer, there's no denying that its impact was both far-reaching and in some areas, seriously epic.

In our last blog post we talked about how great new Subaru models are for the dog owner, especially those taking part in the pampering of your pet. One owner took it to the extreme and provided their pup with a deep tissue -- or fur? -- massage, and as you can see on the Doug the Pug's face, he is in Heaven. We are thankful for what our pets do for us, and in return, adding some extra happiness to their day is our way of saying we appreciate them.

Everybody knows how great new Subaru models are for the four-legged friends in your life, especially since the company took to social media to prove this point. With numerous drivers showing off pictures of their pups having their best day ever, it is quite apparent that a Subaru model driver puts their pets first. With the Subaru Outback or XV Crosstrek, we often see drivers making room for their dog in the back, but we should remember other safety measures such as proper restraint systems.
