It's hard to believe, but we are already nearing the halfway point of the year 2016. So while it seems like just yesterday that new 2016 Subaru models were rolling onto our Mitchell Subaru lot for the very first time, we can already start looking ahead to 2017 model year updates arriving sooner than you might expect.

Memorial Day weekend marks the unofficial commencement of summer festivities--from barbequing to camping, boating to bonfires, if there's one thing we all want to be doing this upcoming holiday weekend, it's being in the great outdoors with our friends and family close by.

And if there were to be an auto brand dubbed the official car of all things outdoorsy, we think it's safe to say that Subaru would almost unanimously be named the victor.

 

Storytelling can be a truly powerful force. Sure, we could continue to bombard you with the facts and figures, the Subaru brand's lengthy list of both standard and available safety features, and tell you the shocking percentage of Subaru models purchased ten years ago that are still on the road today.

But Subaru thinks (and we here at Mitchell Subaru agree) that when you hear one of its many "I Survived" stories, you can truly get a feel for just how much of a priority the automaker places on its customers' well being.

 

We don't mean to brag, but like a proud parent seeing their kid score the game-winning goal, or one cruising around town with a "My Child is an Honor Student" bumper sticker, when we see the brand we so highly respect being recognized with prestigious industry awards, we can't help but to gush a bit.
